Informational Festival
ANGF’S first Informational Festival was held in Austin, Texas on August 6, – August 9, 2009 co-hosted with the Greater Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC). The Launching event was led by the Executive board and Regional Representatives.
This event provided folkloristas the opportunity to work with ANGF in their local area. If you are interested in bringing ANGF to your home tow, contact ANGF and your local merchants, Chamber of Commerce and City officials to make it happen!
If you are interested in holding a 3-day Informational Festival, contact ANGF. ANGF will bring work with you to make it happy. To have an Informational Festival in your area, complete the Host Bid Proposal.
CLASS OPTIONS:
Desarrollo: for experienced dancers ages 8 – 12 and dance instructors. Includes information and movement instruction of various folklórico dances
Tecnica and Ballet: for teachers and students who want to learn how to strengthen their movement abilities, clean up their footwork, style and endurance.
Intensive (Intermediate/Advanced): for experienced dancers who are eager to learn the history, structure and cultural contributions that give life to the dance. Movement portion is intense.
Masters Class (Advanced): for experience directors/dancers interested in learn at a higher level and pace.
Networking: ANGF offers the opportunity to network with local group members and the ANGF Board.
